Winch Limited Warranty

LIMITED WARRANTY: Hampton Products International Corporation warrants the winch and components of the winch (“Product”) according to provisions below: Mechanical components are warranted for lifetime of the Product to be free from defects of material and workmanship. Electrical components are warranted for 1 year to be free from defects of material or workmanship. If a defect in material or workmanship occurs, call 1-800-533-7372 for instructions on how to have the Product repaired or replaced. This Warranty applies only to the original Purchaser/Consumer of the Products from the date of purchase of the Product. Defective Product returned become property of the manufacturer. Limitations on the Warranty: The following limitations apply to the Warranty: (a) The Warranty applies only to the Product which is defective in material or workmanship. This Warranty does not cover normal wear and tear. The Warranty does not cover service or labor charges which are incurred in removing or replacing the Product. (b) The Warranty does not cover the Product finish or wire rope. Accordingly, the manufacturer will not replace, repair or refinish any Products if the finish on the Product is worn in any manner. (c) The Warranty does not extend to Products which are damaged or which fail as a result of the Product being abused, neglected, or misused in any manner, or as a result of any accident, misapplied, overloaded, improperly installed, or altered in any manner by anyone other than the manufacturer, its agents, or representatives. Obligations of Purchaser/Consumer. To obtain the benefits of the Warranty, The Purchaser/Consumer must return the defective Product(s), freight prepaid together with proof of purchase within the warranty period from the date of purchase to Hampton Products International Corporation or an authorized service center. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU ALSO MAY HAVE OTHER RIGHTS WHICH VARY FROM STATE TO STATE. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ON ANY PRODUCT SHALL BE LIMITED TO TERMS OF WARRANTY FROM THE DATE OF PURCHASE AT RETAIL TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER. SOME STATES DO NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS.
