What does working load limit mean on a ratchet strap? The working load limit (WLL) is the maximum load the strap should carry in normal use, and this ratchet strap is rated at 1,000 lb. The longer length of webbing makes it ideal for transporting slightly larger boats or equipment, and the wider webbing spreads the tensioned force over a larger surface area than thinner webbing.
