What is a rack ratchet? It's a ratchet strap designed to mount permanently to a vehicle rack or flat beam, so it's always ready to use. It uses vinyl-coated JJ-hooks to prevent scratching and marring when mounting. The strap is weather, mildew, and corrosion resistant, so it can stay mounted outdoors. The 1.5 in. webbing gives you a secure hold on rack-mounted cargo, and the permanent mount means there's no strap to hunt for before each trip. The strap has a 500 lb. working load limit and a 1,500 lb. break strength. This rack ratchet is sold individually.
