The Keeper 2 in. x 2 ft. Stainless Steel Retractable Transom Tie-Down 2-Pack is constructed with stainless steel, giving it the durability to withstand demanding fresh and saltwater elements. What are transom tie-downs used for? Transom straps secure the stern of the boat to the trailer and restrict vertical movement during transport. With the simplicity of a button, you can retract any excess webbing before securing the boat, and again when you're done for compact, convenient storage. Each strap features two full-size S-hooks with spring-loaded safety clips that help keep the hooks attached. The straps are designed to restrict the amount of vertical movement during transportation. Each strap has a 1,000 lb. working load limit and a 3,000 lb. break strength. This pack includes two retractable transom tie-downs. Inspect the strap and hardware before each use and never exceed the rated working load limit.
