The Keeper Winch Safety Blanket is recommended when operating an electric winch with wire rope . The blanket helps prevent rope recoil in the event of a rope failure. The blank will help the rope fall to the ground and absorb most of the kinetic energy should it occur. The blanket should be positioned around the mid-point of the rope and secured with the velcro strips near the top. Equipped with pockets located on each side to add additional weight for safety orto be used for accessory storage.
